I literally walk past Gojima almost every day on my way home from work so finally decided to stop at try their funky looking burger. It isnt the first sushi style burger I have had. I had one at a Mos Burger outlet in Singapore a long, long time ago. I decided to try the spicy tuna and I got a small side serve of chips. It actually took a little longer than I expected but what I got looked really well presented. Also, while they use the same type of chip packaging as McDonalds or Hungry Jacks, the staff at Gojima actually fill the container properly. I have had half filled too many times at Hungry Jacks in particular to think it is coincidence any more. The chips are excellent. The spicy tuna burger is really quite interesting. While the quantity of tuna is really pretty skimpy, the burger is very good indeed and the crispy rice section is like a yaki onigiri. Id rate it 4.5 stars but I round up so 5 stars!

Interesting take on the hamburger! I am sure everyone would of gotten a beef or chicken, but I chose the kingfish. Quite like it! It twisted your mind as it is neither a burger or a sushi lol!

Interesting take on your usual burgers. I liked them well enough – I thought the double cheese burger was the best, the fried chicken burger was pretty good too. Still, I felt like that the traditional burger ingredients like tomatoes and pickles didnt really work when sandwiched with sushi rice, and it really didnt work with the fried chicken inside the burger. The single pieces of fried chicken were fantastic, and huge as well. Definitely makes sense considering the price on them. Overall it was a nice place, but everything was just a tad too expensive and very oily, which isnt necessarily what I want when Im eating burgers.

Staying at The Star in Sydney for the weekend have me a few options for lunch. Walking by this place I decided to give them a go especially due to the bender I had the night before. Now Ive been to a shit load of burger places in Melbourne and Sydney but also all around the world and I can safely say this is the most adventurous burger place Ive ever came across. The 5 I give is not just the taste but also pushing the limits on how you put great spin on a simple burger. Im not even going to post a photo of it as I think the surprise and taste is something you would want to judge for yourself.I had the cheeseburger and the fries and both were delicious.

Interesting concept of food. Definitely recommend dropping by if you’ve never been before. A great fusion of Japanese and American food as it’s an interesting mix of flavours. Service was fast but I won’t be coming back here as a regular.

I had the spicy tuna sushi burger – and it was great! It is incredibly dense, heavy and does not taste healthy – but the flavours were strong and delicious. The tuna tasted of good quality and the service was good. Not going to be a regular for me – but I do recommend dropping by!

Never knew such a place existed, a very unique take on burgers and it was definitely a hit! felt somewhat healthy too eating a sashimi burger! The cheeseburger was good too, but the seaweed fries, they were divine! Will have to head back to try the other burgers.
