I’ve been wanting to try out Gojima ad the famous Sushi Burger for oh so long, and I am so happy to have finally been. Believe it or not, the Gojima burger does actually rank in my top Sydney Burgers (that I’ve had so far – let me know your suggestions!).Menu: 9/10There is something for everyone on this menu, with the classic burger combinations, something vegetarian, and sashimi options too. There’s fried chicken, soup and lots of cocktails and desserts to compliment.Service: 10/10I actually cannot fault the service here. We were treated with friendly faces, and the food was so quick to reach the table. When it came to clearing the table too, the staff was so kind and did it just while we were letting the food settle – something they definitely didn’t need to do at a burger joint.Ambiance: 9/10The restaurant features very basic furniture and lightly dim lighting. I liked the minimalist approach paying homage to Japanese design elements.Food: 10/10Loved the burger! The crispy rice was surprisingly delicious, and the fillings were just fantastic. The vegetarian burger too ranks in some of the best vegetarian burgers we’ve eaten. I opted for the fried chicken burger, and my goodness was it amazing. I loved the seasoning on the chicken, and it was so tasty and tender. Highly recommend it!Value for money: 9/10Serving size is substantial and definitely worth it.Overall: 9.5/10So so so worth it! theminiaturelife.com
Pros: I love the concept of the sushi burger! In pictures it may look small but trust me it is quite filling. The regular fries were quite large in size (about the size between a medium and large maccas fries) let alone a large fries here. The beef patty is heavenly, it was cooked so well. The fried rice cakes on the sides were very crispy and doesn’t stick to your teeth like other rice cakes. Service was excellent also and I love how the burgers come with dry and wet napkins.Cons: the fries were a bit too salty for me.4.5
