Miam is a gorgeous little patisserie with a clear asian influence. Located in the usually mundane corner or Pyrmont & Ultimo, it’s actually hard to believe something so lovely is hiding away in a stack of brown apartments that have dated since the 70s.There’s a front courtyard with seating, with cute little tables dotted around to make use of the light and leafy canopy of Harris Street. Indoors, the counters are decorated with gorgeous sweets and pastries – think mont blancs, matcha madelines, mango puddings and miso hazelnut slice. There’s a soft, warm energy to the place – leaving it refreshing to enjoy a quiet cake and coffee away from all the hype and bustle of places in the city or Surry Hills. I try the black sesame cheesecake. Its a creamy delight but ultra subtle in terms of flavour. Visually, there’s a nutty, speckled cheese base, topped with a fluffy and light layer to crown it. For the jewels, there’s a few colourful berries ontop and overall, its a great accompaniment to coffee as its not all too sweet. crumbs-au.com

Very nice little Patisserie near the Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments in Pyrmont. Got the Indo bacon & egg roll which had a perfectly cooked runny egg & because it’s never too early for dessert, I got a cheesecake brownie! Staff were very friendly and welcoming & the coffee was good too!

It’s easy to miss Miam Patisserie if you aren’t looking for it! It’s camouflaged in street shops but if you look carefully, it’s decor is simple and refreshing. The staff is wonderful and attentive. I ordered the earl grey tea and the matcha concord. I do like the small cake size that wasn’t too sweet for me (which I like!). The earl grey was generous and very nice. Definitely come back to try other items on the menu!
