Mug Life is a cosy little cafe on Harris near the Allen Street intersection. We came for the doughnuts but were won over by the smashed avo on toasted sourdough with options starting from a very reasonable $6. The avo with coriander, feta, tomato, grilled corn and chilli was a winner. Friendly service and sparkling water on tap topped off a great first-time visit. Locals should check out their offer of $225 payment upfront for six months of coffee.
I come here for when I need coffee fairly quickly in the mornings when I dont feel like sitting in a cafe waiting, but that is all I really go for.One time I spilt the coffee on the way to work because the lid was too big for the cup, even though they assured me it was the right size. Ive had their coffee quite regularly over the past couple months but its not as good as the Pablo Rustys next door.They do Grumpy donuts though which is nice, and they have Weho Poke which is a packaged Poke Bowl service that is ready to serve immediately. The interior is really neat with chill vibes, I like coming here in general but Im not a big fan of the coffee. Its quick and easy, but if I could have the luxury of time Id go next door to Two Sis. kerabeareats.com

Mug Life is my local and favourite place to grab a coffee. Coffee is outstanding and I also love their quick fix avocado toast. The Dr Dough donuts are always way too tempting. I never ate donuts until they moved in!
