I’ve never been to a place that is this stingy with their meat. I paid $12 for the Tonkotsu ramen and I’ve never been more disappointed. I would rather have 2 minute noodles than come back to this place again.

Decent food at decent prices. Cant go wrong with the oyako don and the pumpkin croquettes. When we went, the gym next door was renovating and it smelled like paint so we had to get takeaway. Looking forward to dining in when the renovations finish.

Absolutely loved it. Fresh food, good serves! BYO wine – what more could you want? The service was good, we ate for 5 people with about 8 different entrees, heaps of scallops and mains each.

Food was decently priced with an appropriate serving size relative to cost. Fresh produce with shop close to fish markets. Decent atmosphere with cute decor and great customer service. Had the grilled scallop nigri, unagi don, and chilli yaki noodles with prawns (spicy for a Japanese joint). It was cooked nicely and tasted just as so. Kid friendly too! Good as a second or third date. Location is the only downfall.

This is one of the cheapest sushi restaurants in Pyrmont area. The daily special donburi is $7.90 and they have good bento box set. Good for simple casual Japanese good. weekendnotes.com
