Food: Absolutely amazing – chef Yoshi has had extensive experience in the world of fine dining and it really shows. He shows a true understanding of flavour combination, married with good technique. The grilled koji chicken is moist and full of flavour; with the current promotion, the chashu ramen is a must-try; steaks have always consistently been perfectly cooked.Service: The staff are always lovely and polite. We have been to the restaurant a few times and the waitstaff are usually quick and attentiveAmbience: Relaxed, casual. Perfect place for a date.
What an absolute gem of a spot! The perfect mix of fine dining technique and food quality with the warmth and soul of a local’s gem. The miso eggplant reads very unassuming, but was super tasty, crunchy and full of umami. We were told their dinner menu was changing up soon, if you get a chance – please try the duck/mandarin (a clever play on duck l’orange), the wagu dish was cooked perfectly also! The owner Yoshi made us feel so welcomed and special.
