Got the Dimmi deal for 50% off food. We ordered the 8 dish banquet. This place has lovely service, lovely food (meatball and chicken skewers are very lean which is . Great choice for a couple dining – the portion sizes are decent enough for you to get a taste of everything, and you’ll definitely leave feeling quite full!)There was no fault about this place – the service was friendly, calm, and attentive. The manager and waitress would come to collect dishes and bowls that were done, and were very pleasant to speak to. The dishes were served quite promptly, and were presented decently too.Would come back for the food and service, and would 100% recommend the crispy pork belly!
After wondering aimlessly around the harbour,I decided to pop into Toros for a meal. The food was good but knocking off two stars for the service. They took ages to get my food out and was when I inquired the waitress said they had given my meal to a different table! However, the food was good so Ill go back and try it again 🙂 flavoursage.wordpress.com
Stopped by on a rainy night with my friend because we wouldnt want to search around in the cold any further, and we found exactly what we wanted, a plate of dinner special! Service was good, we really liked the buttery mash, very hearty for a cold night like this.
we went to Toros to enjoy a bit of Tapas on Friday night. To our surprise we were also treated to $5 Sangria – amazing!Ambiance: 7/10The decor is simple on the outside, perfect for the uncertain Sydney weather, with plenty of heaters to keep the crowds warm. Inside the restaurant has warm colored walls and basic decoration too – its inviting but I felt it lacked the cultural element a little.Service: 10/10We were served by incredibly friendly staff that were also really attentive. Food came to us quickly as well which was an added bonusMenu: 9/10The menu really covers every taste and has plenty of options for dietary requirements. Oh, and there is Paella!!Food: 8/10We ordered the chorizo which was really delicious, alongside the patatas gravas which I thought lacked a little bit of salt. The croquettes were fabulous and crunchy which was fantastic. I found the lamb skewers a little dry and tough, but the flavour was great. Similarly the veal meatballs were a bit dry. I absolutely loved the paella! It was well cooked and delicious. We ordered the vegetarian one (big bonus here!) and the seafood paella and both we absolutely wonderful. Value for money: 7/10Darling Harbour and the restaurants will always be a little pricey, but for a harbour dive, Toro’s is pretty decent valueOverall: 8.2/10Definitely one to try! theminiaturelife.com
