We will never be returning to this place. The laziest, slowest staff anywhere, and a place that has been decaying for the past few years (broken tables, water served in old plastic cups). Check newer reviews, because the more positive ones are from a while ago, when it was abetter place.We walked out after waiting a full hour for service – and still not receiving ANY. We had to get the menus ourselves, and all the staff stood around socialising, forgot to take our order, and then DRANK THE COFFEE WE ORDERED THEMSELVES!After an hour with no food or drinks, we got up and left, and the staff didn’t even seem to notice we’d gone.To top it off, the caf’s owner hangs out on restaurant review sites and attacks people who don’t give positive reviews, and then complains about them to his customers. More time WORKING and less time stalking people online might go a long way to fixing things!
This is a caf I regularly escape to. Beautiful outlook at the river and friendly staff. It is children and pet friendly and we are all welcomed with warmth and hospitality. They do a fabulous chia for those who don’t drink coffee and my kids love the ice-cream cones. Services is fast and friendly. Highly recommended.
