Delicious breakfast for myself and my companions, Eggs Benedict was excellent and fabulous coffee. To be perfect my scrambled eggs could have been a bit more moist, but still tasted very nice!
Coffee was good. Can’t complain. Staff was very receptive and answered my questions about vegan options on the menu. Alas food was oily and bland. Vegetables do not need to be drowned in oil to be good.
Dropped into 4th Seed for a coffee, appeared to have been served a steaming cup of burnt ass instead. An extra point given for the nice decor, which is what initially attracted it to me in the first place. Could have stretched it to 2.5 points if the barista had cracked a smile, but he appeared to be as bitter as his coffee. Sorry.
Amazing food(yummy and health), atmosphere(welcoming but quite) and service(friendly and helpful) ! A great local spot for a weekend coffee or smoothie!
Very disappointed and will not return. I went there with some friends for a late lunch just after 1.30pm. I was excited to try it out as there are lots of good reviews. It mentioned on the board that they served breakfast until 3pm but when we went to order they had already turned off their stove. We then ordered the deluxe chicken and wagyu steak open burger, coffee and fresh juice. The chicken burger looked like it had been heated in the microwave with kraft cheese, hot mayo and raw bacon. I also think it was a bit optimistic to call the steak just that as it was some sort of mince burger thing. Our juices were forgotten about and then arrived warm without ice on a 30 degree day. Highlight of the meal was the coffee but we would not even return for that again. It was also a unanimous decision that even KFC would have been a better option for our meal. I’m angry with myself for not taking a photo as I don’t believe words can truly describe how disappointing this meal was.
Amazing service, food just as lovely. I’m from Melbourne but I occasionally frequent the Canberra area to visit family. So I guess not being from around here am a bit of a food snob, hehe. At 4th seed I have found myself coming back, the warm staff know me by name and one of the workers, Mary, is just lovely and attentive. The barista is also good and makes a pretty good soy cap. There aren’t many amazing places in Qbn, but 4th seed is probably the start of a new wave of trendy places there!
Had coffee and the granola. Coffee was good, granola was decent without being special. Service was not terrible though a little underwhelming. Ie. No words or eye contact when they brought our coffees. I’ll give it another go though. Owners were new I think. Was told it recently changed hands.
