From Wollongong working in Queanbeyan this week, really felt like a Thai meal for lunch so saw the sign saying lunch 12-2pm, now admittedly I walked in at 1.56pm but the lady told me they are closed, showed her the time on my phone which was 1.56pm, she just looked at me and said we are closed.She just looked at me and said nothing else, left and bought a Subway!The previous reviews kinda reflect my experience today.I welcome an email or phone call from the owner.
A mediocre dining experience. Average food and average service, the staff were pleasant but made several mistakes on our order and the food was nothing special, not the worst but I won’t bother going back.
The food is average(ok, not great) but problem is that price doesn’t reflect quality or quantity. Once you’ve been to Thailand or had Thai in Sydney/Melbourne you really don’t want to have average Thai.
Oh. My. God.. I have not experienced such slow service ever in my life… We were seated for 30 mins before anyone even acknowledged our existence. They had 2 workers covering 4 tables. Good wasn’t even worth the wait.
Got the delivery order wrong, didnt minimise the salt as asked. Yea, not sure how to recommend. The buggered the order up. I suspect they had run out of what we wanted and just substituted without ringing to ask. They couldn’t re-deliver because the delivery boy had finished. Asked for minimal salt…….. They absolutely ignored that.
I’m really surprised by the drop in quality of lime leaves over the past year, not sure if they have changed ownership. Coconut rice was in a big clump of dense mush, pad thai had about five tiny slivers of chicken and again was a dense clump of noodles, the red curry chicken was flavorless. The only okay part of our meal was the beef Mussaman which is pretty hard to stuff up! Sorry like leaves but I think this was our last visit, very unimpressed!
Absolutely awesome. Best Thai meal I’ve had in ages. Couldn’t fault anything and will return for the ‘Drunken Prawns’ alone!
