Wonderful all round experience. We nearly always travel to Canberra CBD, Kingston, Manuka or another suburb beyond Queanbeyan to eat out. As most are aware, Queanbeyan doesn’t have a lot to offer, and what is here is not great! Tonight we were very pleasantly surprised. The Punjabi Hut reminded us what true service and hospitality was, and what is missing in so many other places. The food was impeccable, and although it doesn’t look much from the outside, the inside is welcoming, comfortable and very clean. We certainly were completely satisfied with our experience, and will be venturing back again soon!
The Punjabi Hut is my favourite restaurant in Queanbeyan. Yes, I think this is the best restaurant in Queanbeyan. However, that is not saying a lot due to the fact most of the eateries here are very ordinary.Nonetheless, the Queanbeyan Punjabi Hut is still a decent feed. It is better than the Punjabi Huts I have been to in Canberra. I have been going to the Queanbeyan Punjabi Hut for years now and I have enjoyed every meal I have had there. The food has been consistently good, whilst the service is always friendly and efficient. The dishes they do better than any other Indian restaurant I have been to are the butter chicken and the entree of chicken tikka; delicious!I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to eat in Queanbeyan.
A good experience all round. Food was decent without being anything special but the atmosphere was nice and the staff were particularly friendly. I do wish they would lose the TV playing Bollywood music clips though – it takes the place down a notch.

Never eaten in but the deliveries have been really good – very tasty and good for value. Well done Punjabi Hut.

Stand out. Excellent food, flavours that excite and entice. Food is cooked to that very fine line between perfection and atrocity. Decent portions and certainly well seasoned. I found my first favourite/regular in Canberra
