Beretta Cafe is situated on the Grand Parade with a decent seating area, they proudly serve Di Bella coffee if you’re a coffee connoisseur on the look-out for bean quality served at Cafes. I didn’t try the food hereso I’m just rating the coffee. As you can see from the picture, the coffee was Roasty, dark with a mild to strong flavour. Great coffee if you like the strong ones like myself, however there was a very subtle taste of bitterness so 4/5 for this one.
Beretta is a great little cafe along the shopping area of Ramsgate Beach. I have had coffee here many times. Their coffees are always consistently good. I have only tried their food recently and it was definitely better than I expected.Their pastas and pizzas are good, but not great. But what they lack in flavour they make up in quantity. The Spaghetti Gamberi has generous amount of prawns. We also had the Meat Royale Pizza which was definitely a celebration of ham, cabanossi, pepperoni and pancetta topped with lots of cheese. My Ravioli Di Ricotta was swimming in Napoli sauce which was so tomatoey, so simple it makes my ricotta filled ravioli sings. The service was great, the staff took time to make sure everything was okay and their price is reasonable. I will try their burger on my next visit!
The pizza shop looks good but the service was horrible went in the middle of the day on a weekday was not busy and had to wait so long to get served and to receive my order , hardly any toppings on the pizza and all of the base and crust was burnt , very disappointed don’t recommend to anyone , I am pretty sure the good reviews are written by the owner himself as a sort of advertisement .
Fresh tasty food. Late evening Pizza was fantastic. The pizza base was fresh and light, with the topping tasty and filling without an overload of cheese. The service was fantastic, with the employees looking clean and professional in unified shirts. The Cafe is super clean, definately will be back.
The pizza and pasta was exquisite. So tasty thr pizza’s melted in the mouth. The pasta was on another level. The ingredients were so fresh and such good quality. That’s what makes it stand out by a mile from other pizzerias. For desert you can’t go past the apple crumble.. Simply delicious. Prices very reasonable. Can’t wait to return!
Ramsgate Gem. Whilst sad to see the old Wagon Wheel pizzeria close after decades of service, it was recently replaced by this upmarket and refurbished version of a cafe and bar. The service here is great, as the staff are friendly and always happy to help and check up on your table without you having to flag them down with effort. The menu seems a little similar to some of the things on the old Wagon Wheel menu, namely the pizza and pasta, but there are fresh new additions that are too good to go past, including the Atlantic salmon. Also a great wine list.
