I ordered the exotic duck curry. It was a big serve with plenty of duck. The curry was fresh and flavoursome. I also ordered the roti with peanut sauce, which was great as the sauce was thick with actual peanuts in it. Definitely worth checking out
You cannot go past this Thai place, it may be expensive compared to other Thai restaurants but the quality of food is always consistent and flavours are delicious. Make sure you to order off their Chefs suggestions menu.
This is the second time we ordered from Blue Monkey. The first time we had a good experience. Was that an off night or was tonight the off night. The food was absolutely inedible tonight. It is not as if there was only a dish or two that were off, but we ordered $80 worth of food and it was all inedible.The beef was like shoe leather, the chicken was dry and the pad thai was greasy. The Roti was absolutely saturated with grease.I will not be ordering from here for a third time. I don’t want to find out which night was their normal dinning experience, the good experience or tonight’s experience.
