Really good coffee, really good food, slight consistency problem on the coffee front that had me going elsewhere for a couple of months (the first one was obviously a bad day). Some small things on the way to five stars (which is practical perfection) – all your tables have levellers on them, use them, why leave your customers with a rocky table when youve spent extra to get tables that dont need to have that problem? The butter packs come out rock solid, try taking them out of the fridge earlier – when the order is being plated is too late.

Thanks to the tip from Rob and Anita, I found this little cafe in Randwick. Have lived here for 11 years and didn’t even know of it! Open early and cyclists here after their morning ride. Breakfast menu has BLaTs, granola, omelettes and corn fritters. I just stuck to a healthy brekkie of poached eggs and spinach with a side of toast and also my go to drink; a chai latte. If you’re here for lunch, there’s plenty of sandwich options, burgers and a couple of salads. Staff were nice and the outlook of the cafe is pretty on a nice day. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
