Satay tofu burger and falafel burger were not bad and fries were good. However the southern fried chicken burger caused indigestion made me horrendously sick. My $16 burger came back up shortly after. Stick to the vegetable burgers and avoid the fake meat.
I was super excited to find a vegan burger place, but Ive been here twice now and both times Ive been a little disappointed. I tried the Aussie burger, and the satay tofu burger.The Aussie burger was TVP based, and crumbly.The satay tofu burger was not at all peanutty, and honestly could have been cooked a bit longer. The buns are vegan brioche, so very light and soft. (The coconut gelato is amazing.)
A well thought out variety of super tasty burgers, the best sweet potato chips in Sydney (big call, but true) and friendly, kind staff. The burgers were so good we didn’t even realise they were vegetarian!After we placed and paid for our order we decided to switch to a gluten free bun, but only had card to pay the extra $2.50. The friendly guy serving us told us they only took cash for such a small amount and decided to waive the charge – friendly service you don’t get a lot in Sydney! Thanks for the great service and the awesome burgers.
THE WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED. THEY TOOK MY ORDER, MADE ME WAIT FOR MY FOOD 30 MINTUES AND WITHOUT ANY WARNING CANCELLED MY ORDER AND LITERALLY CLOSED UP SHOP AND LEFT. If you were going to be so disrespectful then why open up a business that’s soul purpose is to serve people. And your food isn’t even that good. Disgusting behaviour. I would recommend no one go here.
A great place for anyone! Vegan or not, the burgers were packed with flavour. However, the vegan meat had a little bit too much salt. The price for the food is incredibly justifiable with the quality of the produce. This is going to be my new local eatery!
Over-rated unfortunately. The burger was disappointing. Don’t go there if you want a real tasty burger.The cheese wasn’t melting, the extra added pineapple was not a fresh one and not grilled no additional work at all- but just straight from the can. See photo.The beef patty was tasteless so as the cheese was like rubber.And the beef patty was falling apart as well as the burger- see the photo (no melted cheese to hold them together)The bun was dry and rough – felt like eating rubber.I didn’t enjoy it and actually struggled in finishing it. I won’t go back ever again. Was quite yuck.The chips were ok.
Great place for vegan burgers in Randwick. I tried the American Badass which had a plant based beef Patty and hash browns. Very different taste and quick service. Tried the sweet potato fries and the cheesy fries which were really good as well. A little heavy on the pocket, 16$ for the burger, but worth it.
