HUNGRY SUMMARY – good place for a casual meal (brekky or lunch) in Randwick, with food of both western and Japanese/Korean influences.FOOD – teriyaki chicken bento. Very tasty bento. The chicken was well cooked, the egg was delicious and the sashimi was good too. However the gyoza was fried too much and it tasted like chewing cardboard. Overall though the bento was hearty and healthy. They also serve coffee, tea, cakes etc. and serves as a little cafe as well, so very all-round here.PRICE – $11.90. Decent priceSERVICE – great service. Friendly staff (they can speak Korean as well). The wait for the bento was a bit long though.

Small Japanese place on the corner of Alison and Belmore road. The lady and man who work there are lovely and hospitable. They offer a range of entrees like edamame, gyoza, agedashi tofu, takoyaki, karage. They also sell salads, sashimi and bento box deals. They have posters advertising some really nice Gabi Jim but they often never have it. Some other specials advertised like beef ribs and chilli pork. We got the agadashi tofu, nice but quite runny, certainly tasty though. I got the sashimi which was a generous serve accompanied by two sushi pieces. Quite fresh, not the freshest I’ve had but still good. Hubby got the tonkatsu curry which was a decent size with rice and salad. Nice dish for a warm night. They gave us free miso too 🙂 aroundtheclockfoodie.com

Love this place! My bf and I have walked past this place many times and decided to give it a go one night based on the reviews here. We can’t believe we didn’t come here earlier! They serve the freshest sushi and sashimi and portion sizes are very decent! We now eat here weekly. It’s our favourite Japanese in Sydney

Quiet, small, traditional quality Japanese. I love this place. Small, quiet, great quality food. Excellent sushi & sashimi. Lovely family run japanese place with a traditional menu plus some korean dishes. Good value for money.

Love, love, love nothing but love for this place and the husband and wife team that run it. We frequent weekly atleast three times. Highly recommend.

Best freshly made Sushi in Randwick. It is a friendly family-run restaurant which serves authentic Japanese food. It also has some Korean dishes. It is open seven days a week, for lunch from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm and dinner from 5.00 to 10.00 pm which makes it the perfect restaurant for reasonably priced and fresh quality sushi on a week night.

Excellent sushi and more. I love this restaurant. From my experience it has the best sushi in Randwick. I often order the sushi & sashimi combination and I enjoy it all the time. It comes with a selection of sashimi (salmon and tuna), nigiri (salmon, tuna, egg, prawn, eel) and sushi rolls (salmon, tuna salad, … ).
