This little gem is one not to be missed! Super yummy Thai food for a super decent price (for lunch time specials). One of the best Thai spots in the eastern suburbs in my opinion!

Tums Thai is a pretty basic Thai restaurant in Randwick, very small, plastic tables and chairs and seats about 15 people. It’s always busy and people can also get takeaway. Basically good for a very casual dinner or takeaway. They also do $10 lunch specials which are good value for money. There are a variety of deep fried entree options like money bags, spring rolls, and curry puffs (which are delicious – very soft). They also have chicken skewers and baby octopus skewers which are pretty good.As like a traditional Thai place, there are stirfy options, pad Thai, pad everything else and curries. The pad see-ew is delicious and another good choice is the masamun curry. Red curry is also quite nice. They offer white and brow rice for those who like choice. They are pretty fast and also pretty cheap. You can also BYO. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

Came in for late lunch they have lunch special menu priced from $9. Ordered curry puff and stay chicken skewers; one thing worth mention is the size. Their curry puff is like two in one so as the stay chicken skewers. Also ordered chili basil chicken, larb gai and tom yum prawn. They were all okay but not exceptional. Tom yum prawn tasted like it had coconut milk on it which was unusual. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com

I have been eating in this restaurant for years and years. .. I have tried few other Thai Takeaways in the area, but always come back to Tum’s… must have gone through the whole menu by now and enjoyed ever single bit of it. I would say that this is the best Thai at Randwick, and the third best in the whole of Sydney I have ever been to…
