Bistro Saigon is a very nice casual restaurant with a wide range of trendy Vietnamese food, so I had the somewhat uncommon banh xeo. It was a little soggy and broken and could have done with more flavour (like more mushrooms) but it was still good and a big pile of food – not as good as at Banh Xeo Bar in Rosebery but 40% cheaper! Other menu items seem slightly more expensive than most Vietnamese places though. Very busy at lunchtime but opening hours are pretty long (opens at 10:30), so plenty of opportunity to go.
