Pronounced 'John Canoe', alternative spelling: Junkanoo or Jankunu, is a Caribbean street parade or carnival, found in local variants all over the region, from the Bahamas and Jamaica to Belize and Venezuela. We named our joint 'Jonkanoo' to represent the unique cultural makeup and bright, captivating vibe of the Caribbean, shining through in its people, music, dance and, of course, its food and drink. From our colonial era inspired decor and the selection of dishes and cocktails, to the music played on our speakers and the atmosphere our staff create, we strive to bring you the highest quality of authentic West Indian experience in a relaxed and cosy environment. In short: tasty and authentic Caribbean dishes made with passion , complemented with delicious rum cocktails as well as beers and wines from the region.
