This place does great food (tasty, colourful and large servings) and the atmosphere is very welcoming.Unfortunately, one thing that really let’s it down is the service, which is consistently bad. Once, my partner and I had been waiting to order for 10 minutes and when the waiter finally approached our table he actually just walked straight past us to pat a dog outside. He then came back in and ignored us. Another time, a waiter seemed quite grumpy when taking our order, however, his attitude and smile when talking to a lone woman nearby was the complete opposite to what it had been. We’ve kept going back for the food but the poor service from the waiters has actually now become a running joke.

I’ve been to most cafes in the area and this is probably the best. Highly recommended. It is early days for this cafe, however judging by the foot traffic, I suspect more reviews like this will follow.

Service and coffee were great as was the presentation of our meals. But both lacked flavour! The dukkah poached eggs didn’t have much fetta, and lacked seasoning. It needed some pesto or a chutney or just big chunks of fetta or something. It was bland unfortunately. Partners meal was breakfast board and he made the same comments. Disappointing as this is so close and really nice inside. Will go back and order differently next time

Solid choc chip cookie. Great amount of chips and I love places salting their cookies now. If anything a little dry, I prefer my cookies chewier – but otherwise a beautiful snack.

Great food, coffee and juices. Very friendly service. Usually no wait. Only found it recently but keep coming back. The breakfast bruschetta is spot on.

Keep coming back to this place. The menu is great with lots of variety. Service is always friendly and efficient. Coffee is their own and always very pleasant.

Got a car spot across the road so I went in for lunch. Ordered a house soda on this hot day – passionfruit and orange, this was lovely. I ordered the quinoa bowl, and asked for no avocado. It has beetroot, corn, carrot, some kind of random potato and sweet potato, snow peas and a touch of quinoa. It was ok, but a bit different to how the menu lists it. Menu doesn’t list the starchy veggies and does have mushrooms. I added a pork and fennel sausage to it. The menu lists lots of yummy things like french toast and burgers, I was trying to be healthy. The man running the place was lovely and kindly packaged up my salad to go when I couldn’t eat it all. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
