Always Great!
Amazing Feast !. My friend and I have just enjoyed an amazing feast of food at this restaurant. We went for the set menu, which an abundance of different dishes, including dessert and cinnamon tea. The food was incredible. Pleasant, helpful, but not intrusive waiter. If I lived in a Sydney, I’d be a regular. flat bread, chillies, olives, humous, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, lady fingers- spinach and lamb, falafel, lamb kebabs, baked cauliflower, roasted eggplants, green beans in tomato sauce, stuffed vine leaves, rolled cabbage w rice and lamb. Then turkish delight and baklava with cinnamon tea. Phew – amazing ! A great memory of our trip to Sydney.
My sister and I shared a meal here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Hommous is delish and the pita thin and warm. Flavorful coriander potatoes and just adore the slight acidic taste of the fried cauliflower with tahini. I’m a BIG cauliflower fan so I always grab some when I go Lebanese for a meal. Baklava a bit dry this outing. I prefer really moist to the point of soaking. Personal preference, not for everyone I’m sure. Don’t be put off by the dodgy exterior. Good, filling and reasonably priced food awaits inside.
Tabouli is eatable , was disappointed with their shish tawoak was dry and not marinated. The vine leaves fat and soggy…. The worst dish was the potato corrienda.. On the up side the homous and baba ganoush was ok goodtasteguide.blogspot.com
Best Leb on Cleveland!. Have been dining here since I was a child. I am now 33 and will still make the trek down to surrey hills from ryde when I feel like lebanese cuisine!! LOVE IT!
Fantastic value. We have been eating here regularly for many years and have never been disappointed. The food is simple, delicious and abundant. Have tried many other Lebanese restaurants in Sydney – some good but all far more expensive and less satisfying. Highly recommend the cabbage rolls and garlic chicken.
Good, honest Lebanese food. Without a doubt the best Lebanese restaurant on Cleveland St. We’ve been coming here regularly for 10 years because the food is always superb, the prices are right and the family who own this great place to eat are really lovely people. The corner location makes for a colouful outlook as you watch the traffic and pedestrians whizz by whilst enjoying a fantastic meal. Bottle shop across the road is very convenient for BYO.
