Their own food that they offer isn’t that great though. We’ve had the charcuterie board. Nothing special and didn’t really hit the spot. Their pies are microwaved. However. …as a bar…it rocks
Great bar with eccentric decorations and awesome music. Outside area was shut at 8pm probably because of noise restriction. Main bar was shut at 11pm which was quite early. There was no burgers or chips on the menu, in fact the only choice of food was either pizza, pasta or cheese board. That was very unusual for a bar. Cocktail list was short and only offered the classic ones. We had a good time. thernbdiary.com
Though I have mixed feelings about the gentrification of Redfern, this queer space is right on. It’s a small bar with booths, great decor, and an out door area. I love that you can order food in from neighbourhood kitchens – try the gluten free vegetarian pizzas or anything from the ever popular Chinese menu. They also serve up a small menu themselves and were very accommodating to my meat free, gluten free cheese board needs! Great staff and some different dj/music themes during the week, they also have live bands/shows. I really dig the community vibe of this place and am happy to take recommendations from staff on new gins or rums that they stock.

Part bar, part art space. Very cool!. Redfern has another cool addition. The Bearded Tit first hit the area with crochetted genetalia in its windows and a smile on its face.
