The most random bar, or club? Think clubbing 90’s music, waiters wearing workman vests or NO SHIRTS at all, party smoke and more. Crazy university vibe. They sell some food like dumplings but the way they are prepared, I certainly wouldn’t be eating them. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

It was a small bar that surprisingly turned into packed dance floor late at night. I would give it 4 if the music wasn’t so awful which was a shame. The ambience was great and a decent dancing bar was hard to come by. thernbdiary.com

Loud Music. The music is toooo loud, it’s hard to stay inside for long…it’s a shame because I like everything else in the place (drinks, environment, staff)…I really hope they will reduce the volume especially with the live band.

At last a review – I’ve been going since the beginning – but not that often. Can’t quite tick I like it – in truth I’m ambivalent because they play bad music really loud through a so-so sound system – occupational hazard all over Sydney. But Jedd is a lovely bloke, and he’s found his thing and stuck to that, so good on him. The NZ beer is good value, and they also mix a mean martini. I try to go early, when I can still hear.

This is the place to go in the up and coming Redfern scene, don’t be afraid of the trendiness, The Dock is a down to earth small bar. With friendly staff and a great atmosphere conducive to meeting like minded people, it offers modestly priced drinks, and well made, inventive cocktails. Couple this with their lunch and dinner specials of steamed dumplings and edamame, it’s a truly fulfilling experience.I can’t recommend this bar enough, go and check it out!
