The Prophet is one of the more enduring Lebanese establishments in the area. Good selection of dips, vine leaves and tabouli are great. Will have to come back for a selection of mains next time. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic. We have been twice now to this restaurant and both times we were given outstanding service with excellent food. Very friendly staff and happy to assist with our requests of extra baklava.
Sydneys best lebanese. After visiting the prophet on a number of occasions-generally without a booking- this restaurant has always pleased.. quality food and service with authentic dishes.. we once took twenty four guest here with outstanding results..sydney needs moore locations like the prophet…and professional management which seems to have been here forever. well done prophet…………………………………….
Always excellent food!
Well priced and tasty!. I have been to The Prophet many a time, and I must say it is one of the tastiest, most well priced lebanese in Surry Hills, which is saying something because there are atleast 5 lebanese restaurants situated in this area. I always order the banquet, for $35 you get an assortment of all the lebanese classics; a small amount to sample all the best tastes they have to offer! I must admit they have the best lamb kofta I have ever eaten! It also doesn’t hurt that they are byo!
