Great friendly service. The cafe looks beautiful and open.I’m not sure when i ordered the coffee i got the Vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk or just an iced coffee with regular milk – it was very thin. And although the coffee was strong definitely too much ice to milk / coffee ratio. It just tasted very watered down. I got the the bacon & egg roll which was a generous serving but the milk bun was quite dry. There was load of sauce but i definitely think the bun should’ve been softer and fluffier for a milk bun. The egg was cooked nicely however the bacon a little too crispy for my liking.Would love to try the banh mi
Was spotted by the barista from outside while I was looking for a menu. I’d walked past during building and loved the name. As I was on the move I just wanted a drink so I opted for a skim Tarro Latte as we discussed burgers and being Westies. Was great fun. Would return.
The cafe is convenient and is centrally located in Redfern. Walk in the cafe, the place has a nice, good ambience, has interesting newspapers on the wall and cafe is small – fit for small crowds. Food menu is simple, not much variety to choose from and is overpriced. Moreover, it’s disappointing the food is not very good tasty (not the best at all, quite bland). The food is more westernised (fusion mix).. not really authentic Vietnamese and coffee is ok, not that great (can get better elsewhere!). Food is fresh and serving of food portions are reasonably decent and presentable. The customer service there was good, welcoming, and friendly.
A great concept and addition to the local area but not without flaws. Thoughtfully created and carefully limited menu and great coffee. Food portion size is small, but sadly not in a delicate way, just small… and seems to vary according to who dishes up. Lots of staff but none attentive, not naturally geared to hospitality, possibly having a go at something new. Hoping to see it improve and thrive.
Great food and amazing coffee! The service was incredible too, they made us feel comfortable and looked after us the whole time. They explained the coffee to us, where the beans came from and how it was traditionally served. Loved stumbling across Yellow Fever
Yellow Fever is a must for lunch at least once a week at work – Vermicelli Bowl with Nem Nuong is my favorite! Friendly staff, yummy food and good vibes all around x
A friendly cafe with decent coffee and really good baked products. The brownies are especially good. I’ve had lunch here too and the vietnamese baguettes hit the spot
