Got a chicken meal from this shop. No flexibiliy whatsoever with their menu. They did not agree to swap chips with Tabouli even for a fee! Also, their chicken is overcooked and tastes like rubber.Nice chips and Tabouli is okay.I am not coming back any time soon because of the mediocre service and below average chicken.
Awafi is an over rated chicken shop. Not sure how they figure out their prices. I guess it’s people who think it’s a wow factor and continue to go back and spend the extra money. If they had little meal deals that have salad, chicken, chips, bread and a drink that’s a good mix. A salad is so needed with the mix, doesn’t necessary need to be tabouli but just a garden salad
Found someone’s crown tooth in the vine leave wrap. I’m done. *throws up*.How the hell is this place still open?? Wtf. Please do everyone a favourite and shut ourself down.
I wish if I can give you guya 0, but I had to choose a bar. Picture is better than a thousand words. So please see attached photo of 2 FULLY BURNT OUT CHICKENS that went in the bin. What a waste awafi. The problem is that this isnt the first time. Its not that hard to tell if a chicken is burnt or not. If it is dont fakin serve it. Get you shet together!
Love this place for the convenience as it’s close to the Bankstown basketball courts. It’s always open quite late, with ample amount of open seating. The Lebanese food is your typical charcoal chicken and chips. The chicken has a vinegar flavour and has crispy skin. Just the way I like it. I sometimes have to ask for extra chicken salt on my chips. My favourite side dish is the Sambousik cheese. Always delicious!Free fresh unlimited Lebanese pita and a side of pickled vegetables to the chips
Located on Queen street, always busy anytime of the day. The chicken is amazing, theres always hundreds cooking in the kitchen and any one time. That garlic sauce is the key. The best!
