Firstly, I cannot get enough of the interior. Well designed place. I love the fact that this particular bakery is very welcoming. A long with the menu being written clearly, there is also an explanation of what the meal is. If you don’t understand how to pronounce something in perfect Arabic tongue, there are no dirty looks, no disrespectful comments, the staff simply smile and are happy to help out. This makes me feel comfortable to order and also keeps me coming back. The food is a definite 5/5 for me. I cannot go to Revesby and not stop at this store. Absolutely addicting!I rate both the customer service and food a big 5/5.
Their custard is amazing. Excited to see what their other dessert offering; rice pudding will bring. Breads are normal and could be procured cheaper from other Lebanese bread stores. Nothing special about the breads except their special (high) prices.
The food is yum, my favourite is the meat and cheese with lemon and chilli. The efficiency of service in the business isn’t the best. You call up ahead of time to reduce the waiting period but you get there and you’re made to wait and the food gets cold. And then you try the following week to call when you’re literally 5 minutes away to avoid getting the food cold once you get there in the chance they make you wait. BUT they don’t answer the phone and you end up ordering when you get there. I have to say the owner is a lovely person. Kind and honest. The food is good and well when we do eat in, it’s amazing as the food is hot just need to wait. I don’t like waiting but I guess the tastiness of the food balances out the slow service. Nothing is perfect but improving your service should occur most often. I would suggest on the weekends designate 2 staff for phone orders and despatch to them in store. Other staff to assist walk ins.
