Dont bother. Substandard food, nothing in the display case is fresh and coffee is woeful. Overpriced too. The staff are friendly enough but why is the place always full of flies?!
It’s funny, the reviews are negative and word of mouth is also negative. And here I come miss optimistic thinking I might be able to have a positive experience but unfortunately it is crap lol… I think the owners need to sell their business and new owners need to change the name. Java lava is now black listed for many. No way can they be redeemed.
The food is very mediocre for the price you pay. Service is average and seating is spacious and comfortable. I’ve tried the waffle and the schnitzel but probably will not return.
I dont live around this area and thought it would be a great place for brunch. The people there were very unenthusiastic. The least the young waitress could do was smile- it seemed like she didn’t even want to be there! We started off we some drinks and I loved my Chai Iced smoothie. We waited awhile for the food. As we were waiting i noticed that all the girls working were no older than 18 and there were numerous tables that had not been cleaned and they were standing around doing nothing! Not a good look of dirty tables everywhere while they don’t do anything. The food then came and I got the Eggs Benedict which was horrible. There was way too much sauce which made me feel ill, the bread was soggy and the sausage was bad. I did not enjoy my meal.I would only recommend for a coffee not a full meal!
Went here today and had coffee pancakes and I had chicken and salad roll and a strawberry mango banana juice.Great service the food was yum my partners pancakes were the best ive had for a while.My roll was really good but avo was underipe. Reat was great the mixed fresh juice was beautiful.
Came for late night snack – had iced mochas and chose a chocolate muffin from their selection of sweet treats. Mochas were nice and they warmed up the muffin before serving which was great. Service was mediocre though, our table had spilt coffee and two waitresses who served us didn’t do anything about it. Had a quick look at their menu but nothing really looked worth a trip back.
