This place is very no frills and average – typical of food court i guess. We ordered the siu mai, xiao long bao and the yangzhou fried rice. Good: the dumplings were steamed fresh so were piping hot, efficient staff and food came out relatively quickNeeds improvement: average but slightly better than what you can steam yourself from frozen, a tad too salty for my taste, not enough seating (but i guess you can take your food out to the general food court area), service – no nonsense, brusque but efficient, everything is served in plastic takeaway containers (even if you choose to eat in) – would be nice to have a more environmentally friendly way to serve the dishes Overall, it was an ok experience, i would return to try their other dishes but would not be my first choice.
This place was really basic i wouldn’t go back especially for the prices charged it’s better off to go to an actual Chinese restaurantWe had the Shau Mai and the chilli oil wontons but they wernt anything special, the chilli oil used was really good though and had a nice smoky flavour
Found a cockroach in my dumpling!! The staff wouldn’t believe me and spoke very little English. The manager then was argumentative and gave me no refund, instead insisted that I make a complaint, so here it is.
Ordered the vegetarian, prawn and chive and pork dumplings. Also ordered the fried rice.Dumplings were just ok. Paid over $30 for the lot which was pretty pricy seeing as you only get 4 dumplings in each. Rice was very tasty though. A good place for a quick lunch stop just a little pricy.
Painfully average with rude staff! If at Rhodes it would be better to eat at Guzman y Gomez. We had tried the pork steamed dumplings and the vegetable dumplings.
