Pretty great establishment overall. I have been going here since they were on the other side of the road. The joint sell really good Lebanese food however you have to pay the price. The mixed plates are really good, especially if you eat it there.

I always get a good feed from this place. I have tried a lot of things from the menu here. The charcoal chicken with the garlic and chili sauces are a perfect combo. The burgers are also very nice and at a cheap price too. I’ve tried the mixed plates and they are my favourite if you feel like a large meal with variety. Friendly people working there too. Recommend it
If waiting 1/2 hr for kebab and chips is your thing then this is the place for you. The food at best is average and worst a little suss. I will not be going back there
Tried Akly on the weekend and would not go back. Got a take away meal of a whole chicken, hummus, chips and tabouli. When I got home five minutes later the bag of chicken was dripping oil, it wasn’t a full chicken (one breast piece missing) and it was very baldy burnt, very dry, inedible. Ate the tabouli, chips and hummus (which were passable) with the bread and tossed the chicken out. My search for good lebanese chicken in the area continues!
Great place to eat. Have eaten in numerous times as well as great take away. Fantasric chilli garlic sauce. Best charcoal chicken in the area!
Dear but Decent. In brief, the food at Akly was rather expensive for Lebanese but the quantity and quality were both good. Service could have been better and seemingly less as though they had been roused from a deep slumber; however, it seemed that, after initial interactions, staff warmed up to diners-in. The ambience is nothing special, but it is definitely difficult to get any sort of mood with cars zipping past Belmore Road and a interminably loud television set.Having said this, we would recommend Akly, particularly if you are in the Riverwood and surrounding area, as this was rather Lebanese fare not in the usual haunts.
