Disgusting quality. My husband bought some fresh barramundi fillets , or what we thought were fresh. When i had a look at it, i was overwhelmed with a fishy smell. Thought i could cook the smell out-boy i was wrong. Not fresh. Not healthy by any stretch and expensive for the type of quality we received. Better off getting salmon from woolies next time. Yuk yuk yuk!

I’ve been going to Gus’s Seafood for about 7 years now. I always ask them to make my special potato scallop burger. The chips are awesome….you have to try this place out.
One of the best fish and chip shops I’ve been to! You can taste the love they put into their food. Friendly staff that really make you feel like part of the Gus’s family.
I’m addicted to the potato scallops, hand made ones not those fake ones! I’ll always try something new each time I go (which is often) including grilled fish they take from the fresh seafood window and cook in front of you. Staff are always nice even when they busy. Close to train station, follow the delicious hot chip smell when you come up the stairs.
Been here a few times before, usually I don’t like fish but my dad convinced me to try their fish burger. I was actually stunned… it didn’t have that fishy taste that a lot of people, including myself, seem to hate. Not greasy either. I really rated it :)Dad got the BBQ Octopus and Barramundi (with the secret special spices)It’s a bonus that the staff are really funny and helpful. It adds to the enjoyment of the experience.I think I just found my new addiction!P.S. The calamari were great as well 😛
Love the food here…best fish’n’chip shop I have been to in Sydney…Gus’s special spring roll is just to die for. Excellent customer service…would recommend to anyone…
