good experience every time in shanghai memory chinese restaurant. food was good and price was not bad as well. It was almost 4 or 5 years in local area and we love their food. We come back again, again and again.

One of the best Chinese Shanghai cuisine in Sydney. It is really authentic, tasty and comes with good services. You must give it a try. I am an experienced diner, I have tasted more than 50 hatted restaurants in Sydney. This one is outstanding!
This is a small hidden place which is always bustling with people. I think the pork and chive dumplings are amazing and good for value! $11 gets you 15 delicious dumplings! They do a lovely pork belly dish as well!
Friday lunch was enjoyable and different in that the disheshad an interesting presentation. Some items were served in sea shell glassdishes and a basket. The menu is very extensive although certain items wereunavailable when requested. Traditional Shanghai soup dumplings (Xia lin bau)were not available or the Chinese mushrooms requested with the oyster beef werereplaced with straw mushrooms. Food was tasty but pricey although proportions were generous.Service was good.
A Shanghainese sight for sore eyes in Rockdale.Shanghai Memory offers good Shanghainese food at affordable prices in an area that otherwise doesn’t have any (good) Shanghainese food. The service is fair enough and the ambience is all right if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle of the store, undoubtedly a reflection of its popularity among locals and those from neighbouring suburbs. Generally, the place is no frills in its decor and its menus. We would particularly recommend the dumplings, which may be less subtle than those at restaurants in Little Shanghai, Ashfield, but that’s all right; however, that seems to be the case with the offerings at Shanghai Memory in general, as they seem to taste slightly saltier than the Shanghainese we are used to.All in all, we would recommend that people try Shanghai Memory. It’s not all bad!
