Tried Chucks Burgers in Blacktown (at Super Cheap Autos car park) and its pretty good. First I had the Cheesy chuck burger but its pretty standard. Reminded me of Maccas cheeseburger for some reason (but of course much better!).If you want to have a full on experience youd better go with the more epic option: the cheesy chuck champion burger: 2 x thick, premium wagyu beef patties covered in 3 x nicely melted American cheese, streaky American bacon, Spanish onion and tangy pickles slathered in American mustard and special sauce. The seasoned fries are awesome but the truffle fries are even better. Crispy and covered in house made quattro cheese blend, topped with smokey bacon and truffle aioli sauce (the bomb!).Finishing off with the Nutella cheesecake shakes. The shakes are not the thick style and have only a subtle hint of the Nutella and cheesecake flavours. Still a refreshing drink as its not overly sweet.
Very disappointing experience today at Chuck’s Burgers at Richmond Road Blacktown. 1 hour line to order, 30 minute wait for food and minimal parking causing cars to be locked into opposite park.Much confusion between staff, customers being handed wrong orders and many people frustrated. Music was so loud that we could not hear our order being repeated back to us and ended up being wrong. We ordered the Cheesy Chuck Champion, Southwestern Chuck, Truffle Fries, Chicken Tenders and Caramel Popcorn Shake. The Cheesy Chuck Champion was a double beef and cheese burger with bacon and pickles. It was very messy to eat but otherwise delicious. We did though find a hair in this though which is disappointing. The Southwestern Chuck was fried chicken with lettuce, cheese and pickles. I didn’t particularly enjoy the combination of cheese and pickles with the chicken and this burger was overly oily. It still had a consistent flavour but made you feel overfull quickly. The Truffle Fries were McDonalds fries with melted cheese and bacon. They were very delicious and there was a generous amount of toppings. The Chicken Tenders was 3 pieces of Southwestern Style Chicken. The serving size was very tiny for the price and we were disappointed because we expected bigger pieces for $8 or so dollars. The Caramel Popcorn Milkshake was caramel syrup with milk. There was no chunks whatsoever and the flavouring got a bit sickening.Overall we did not enjoy this experience. We may try other food trucks in the future if they do not have a wait as long as we experienced today.
