Yet again, a tidal wave of patriotism hits me like a tonne of bricks, knowing that my favorite Filipino meals are mainstream and easily available when i’m not bothered to cook.Mama Lors menu is simple, cheap, and caters to all palates- They’re grilled or ‘inihaw’ meals are a must try for all, followed by an ube cream, or halo halo.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, staff is very friendly, and the food is high quality. Very authentic Filipino, even down to the table decorations and serving ware.
More of a 3.5. Very busy for lunch on the weekend,Im a rookie when it comes to filo food and I tried the pork adobo (nice but a bit too salty) chicken adobo (had bones on the chicken and didnt have the same taste,I prefer pork) the pork hopia reminds me of small Chinese steamed pork buns and the banana fritters,one with a a crispy filo pastry which was really nice and the other which has batter on it. The batter one was nice also but one of the bananas didnt have much batter and it didnt taste nice,will be back
