No frills Thai place located in the heart of Rose Bay. Menu is typical of every Thai place and the food is prepared quickly. Take your pick with the meals as it is well priced for the food prepared. If you are looking for a value for money lunch duck down and grab the $8 – $12 lunch specials.
True to its name, The Best Thai certainly serves up some delicious food, especially the pad see ew. These flavoursome dishes will leave you feeling satisfied, in a cute little Thai-styled setting, or takeaway or delivery if you want. Excellent service with very kind staff who give free prawn chips. Highly recommend!
Great Thai Lunch Special!. Came here for lunch and had the Salt and pepper squid lunch special. It was only $11, but was well worth it and the service was quick and the staff were friendly.
Classic Thai. A great little eatery that offers the Thsi classics. Small and cramped at times; most people drop in to puck up take away. Food is good and cheap. Reminds me of ghe little kitchens you find in Thailand.

The best Thai salad anywhere. Keep going back for the same thing so can’t comment on anything else on the menu, but, hey, when you’re onto a good thing, stick to it.
Consistent, delicious & cheap. The Best Thai is delicious. Meals are cheap, especially if you come at lunch time for the $10 lunch special. And everything is served in large portions. I prefer the Best Thai 2 which is the larger restaurant a few doors down from the Best Thai.. there is one Thai chef who is short and wears a bandanna, he is the best cook out of them all. Look out for him!My favourite dishes are the Chicken Penang curry with rice (I’m not sure if it shows on the menu, but they make it and its incredible), and the chicken Pad Thai. Both sensational, delicious, giant, satisfying dishes. The entree of chicken satay sticks consists of 4 deliciously cooked chicken sticks smothered in amazing crunchy delicious peanut satay sauce. My partner and I come here constantly…. definitely a winner!
