Met a friend here for coffee and breakfast. I’m not a huge fan of Toby’s Estate coffee but theirs was made well and was enjoyable. We ordered the brioche French toast which was nice, served with beautiful fresh berries. The pancakes on the other hand were dry, I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh berries and ricotta it came with though. Overall great presentation, good portions and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place. It’s also very cosy and the service is attentive.

A very busy cafe. Very good food, matched with friendly service. Great atmosphere inside, a bit crowded but rather crowd than empty chairs right? We have only been here once, we have heard great things so we thought we would go check it out. It was jam packed with all sorts of people ranging from different age groups. The chairs here, I must say were fabulous. I think they were velvet, very royal like chairs, big and soft – very comfortable. We tried the lamb sandwich, which was juicy and delicious. It was sooo big we had to take away half of it. We also tried the zucchini and prawn pasta which didnt disappoint. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu. fe3eats.wordpress.com

Good vibes and ambiance, friendly and attentive service. Outdoor seating area is very comfortable and relaxing. Their coffee ( Tobys Estate) is not my favourite but barista made the best of it! Food wise, I had green bowl; it was hearty, had a nice dressing, but I find it that it was a bit pricey for what it is as it simply didnt have any creative or wow factor flavour! Dont get me wrong I enjoyed every bit of it, but could have costed a bit less. My friend enjoyed his burger and chips as well, though same story about pricing applies to that dish too apparently! Overall simple, satisfying good food and great service!

Nice breakfast spot in the heart of Rosebery. The food is always delicious and never shy on serving size.Cost is above average but you really do get what you pay for, and with the added bonus of table service we think it’s worth it.Considering a lot of families go here, could probably have more child friendly options, otherwise love everything else about it.Definitely recommend trying this one out during a lazy Sunday brunch.

Walking into the 5th Earl you’re greeted by the owner. The decor is shabby chic with lots of raw wood grain and it is quite a large place. This place has the best piccolo’s in the area. I really enjoyed the coffee. The food came out fast… extremely fast. The Earls Breakfast looked the goods but I was a little let down. The poached eggs were overcooked and a lot of the water made it to my plate soaking the sourdough toast to mush. The Philly Cheese Steak is gourmet version of the classic. The bread is crisp and delicious, the sauce was heavenly, but there was just a little too much capsicum in the veg-to-meat ratio. The sweet potato fries that came as a side were amazing – were meant to eat them. Crisp, fluffy, succulent, sprinkled with salty goodness… yum!The staff are really good but no one really knew where they were meant to be. Although we had placed the order shortly after sitting down we had an additional 3 staff come up and asked if we were ready to order. Kudos for the over attentiveness!

Came here for lunch and ordered the housemade crunchy falafel with pita, hummus and sweet potato fries. The falafels were very crunchy but was lacking some flavour and fluffiness inside. There wasn’t really enough garlic sauce or hummus so most of the flavour came from the beetroot which was nice but not really what you expect from a falafel plate. I swapped regular fries for sweet potato fries and they were ok but could have been crunchier – the aioli was great though. Overall lunch was just ok..but my friend’s Poke Bowl and the corn flakes chicken burger looked great!!

Came here for lunch. Fish tacos was amazing smoked salmon scrambled egg and avo on brioche, poke bowl and their special Reuben Benedict were also amazing. Didnt managed to take any photos as we were too hungry and the food looked too appetizing. Price could be just a little lower if not I would have rated 5 stars. All in all still one of the better brunch spots in sydney. New favorite brunch spot
