I really like the lateen club, it’s a really nice atmosphere but I found this place a little disappointing. There was an insect on the side of dish. Needless to say I wasn’t going to eat it. They were not flexible with bringing me something else from menu. How can I trust that the new dish would be fresh and not the same one.
I think they must have changed chefs or management. We came here a few weeks ago and the food was completely different. I ordered the chickpea and quinoa salad and paid almost $30 for a bowl of rocket. The Rocky road ice cream we ordered a few weeks ago had about 5 scoops of icecream, we raved about how good it was to our family and friends, however ordered it again to get not even half the size of what tasted like cheap ice cream for the same price. Can’t say how disappointed we are at the changes.
Living in the area for a while now,we visited Mazi the other day you don’t expect such great decor and atmosphere when you pass by it was warm and welcoming Ordered the bbq scotch fillet omg that was amazing !!!Will be going back soon
I wanted to rate this club a 5 as the decor is really lovely and the service from the bar and wait staff is both very welcoming and accommodating. When it comes to the food however I was disappointed with the serving size. My husband and I ordered the Veal Bracioli which were flavourful however the serve size was not satisfying for the price especially when it was only served with rocket on the side. I was expecting a nice serve of vegetables and/ or mash with this. The flavour of the rocket swimming in juis was not appealing to me so I had to leave it. Would like to come again as the woodfire atmosphere surrounded by comfy lounges looks inviting but maybe for a coffee with cake or drink instead. In a nutshell, nicely decorated new club with enticing areas both indoor and outdoor but I would like to see better value for money meals.
Poor Quality food served at this place. The prices for the meals are overly inflated for the service and menu items offered. Wouldn’t recommend MaZi at all.
Great service, Awesome food at Roselands Sydney. It not usual club fare for sure as for some people may expect but if you after good service and excellent variety of food visit this place.best saganaki prawn dish ever love it.
Do not eat here. Lantern CLub Roselands is a beautiful club, but the food is inedible, yet alone over priced even if it was edible. Honestly, do yourself a favour. DO NOT EAT HERE.
