Got invited to try this new pop up in a Roseville Golf Club called The First Cut and boy was their food good!When you first walk in you will see that the interior is beautifully decorated in a French provincial style with all the elegance to match. When you eat the food, it is yet again another glorious experience. For an entre, our oysters were served on a bed of salt adding a beautiful, salty fresh flavour. I had the lamb shank as a main and it was literary fall off the bone, melt in your mouth good. The meat was so tender and tasty and the Dauphinoise potato was made to such precision one cannot complain. My partner had the beef eye fillet and that too was super tender. Our dessert was also divine!We had the chocolate red velvet sphere and rhubarb three ways and both were equally eye pleasing and bursting with flavour. The staff were super friendly and just lovely. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. I am definitely going to visit again soon!
