When you wake with a pancake craving, it’s sheer luck that the first cafe you happen to drive past features it on their menu, but also does a fine rendition of it. Cordelia’s Cafe is located across the road from the Sackville, and is not a cafe I’ve ever really noticed before. But now having been, I’ll definitely be back. It’s a cosy little cafe located in a lovely sandstone building. We perched ourselves at the polished wooden front bench, and enjoyed the Sunday morning people watching while we enjoyed our pancakes and big breakfast. The pancakes were simple, yet delicious, served with fresh strawberries, blueberries, maple syrup and a sprinkle of icing sugar. And the coffee is also nice and strong.The new owners have been there for the past four months and are enthusiastic about providing great food and service.
