Very Disappointing!!!! Don’t be deceived with what you read on the menu. Corn Fritters were just ordinary, unseasoned pancakes with a few pieces of corn in them! It came with ‘avocado salsa’ which was literally chopped avocado. And 3 roasted cherry tomatoes which were the tastiest thing on the plate. My friend had ordered poached egg with her smashed avocado which was served pretty much hard boiled. Finally our Smoothie…served warm and served at the very end of our meal. Which rubbed salt into the wound which could’ve been added to my unsalted corn pancakes!Wouldn’t go back!
Corner Bar deserves top marks for their excellent service! The girl working there was so lovely and really on the ball for a number of reasons, and on top of that they also had an iphone charger for my friend who had a dead phone since the morning.Their cocktails are mostly around the $16 mark which is cheaper than a lot of places, but either way we werent feeling like alcohol so asked for a mocktail. It was tasty as most mocktails are, but also not that creative. Sweet and fruity (pineapple) so you can imagine it would go down well.Also got some chips to nibble on and what a great choice! They were really good and perfect for that afternoon snack. Slight crisp on the outside and soft fluffy on the inside. Yumm One downside was the really creepy bathroom! With skeletons, dim lighting, upper half mannequin, dolls, and other random knick-knacks, I cant say it was a particularly enjoyable setting.
Brilliant food and an equally friendly chef with a very professional waiting staff. Corner gem this place more than a bar. Very limited seating. Make sure you get an outside bar table.
Great bar for coffee, lunch, drink or dinner. Good menu and lovely wines and beers. We enjoyed the tapas menu on last visit. Super staff – come you will enjoy.
Corner bar is the perfect place to sit in the sunshine, sipping on cocktails whilst snacking on a delicious selection of starters. The pan seared scallops with chorizo quite literally melt in your mouth. The flavour combo is delightful and I made sure there wasn’t a single remanent of scallop left over.The saganaki haloumi was my second favourite dish, when haloumi comes on the table, I always know I’m in for a good time and corner bar didn’t disappoint.If you’re wanting something to fill the belly a little more, you can’t go past the posh pie floater, it’s up there with the best of them and gives the Lord Nelson pie a run for its money.
Gorgeous bar located in a bright spot where you can laze all day and night drinking cocktails and sampling the menu. Bossman Lindsay is very friendly and makes sure everyone is well looked after. I highly recommend the posh pie floater and the pan seared scallops.
Amazing little bar that has good food, good live music and a very buzzing atmosphere!! A highly good place to come when you are in the mood to relax, yet still have a great night out.This place has great chips!! They are one of my favourites in Sydney! Really really crunchy and super tasty.Drinks are reasonably priced and not too stingy on the alcohol content.
