Just moved to Rozelle from Surry Hills and was presently surprised with Grumpys Thai Wok. Great selection of traditional and authentic Thai and well priced for the size of the meals. You get my vote Grumpys Thai. Ill definitely be back.
2 days ago ordered a thai green curry for lunch (pork), for roughly $8.50.Very attractive price, inclusive of vegies, rice etc. But the pork was barely cooked !!!Additionally, the green curry sauce felt like it was missing a few needed ingredients. It just tasted a bit too salty ??As I wasn’t content with the pork, the young lady did try to replace the meal for me.It came back, and guess what ? the pork still felt terribly undercooked. So I shot straight for the vegies and rice, to fill my stomach up, because I knew that taking it back a second time would make no difference.Health reason wise, I believe it is not good to consume meat that hasn’t been probably cooked through. In fact, it can be considered quite hazardous (I’ve had awful experiences with ‘pinkish’ chicken as well, in other eateries).Overall, won’t be going back for any meat dish. Vegetarian maybe, but no meat. I just simply don’t trust them.Please exercise due caution.
