Labancz is a French Patisserie where you can buy crusty baguettes to take away or stop for lunch. With only a few tables its not a big establishment but they do take out meals as well. I had the beetroot, goats cheese, fennel, walnut and green bean salad. There was no fennel to be found sadly and there was a little too much dressing but overall it was fresh and tasty. Service is friendly and the mood is quick and casual. The menu is not extensive and neither is the cake selection. The prices are very good though. So its a really cost effective option for the area. There are lots of choices on Darling St for food so this might not be your first choice, but for a nice quick meal on the go this place is a safe bet. The locals seem to love it.
