The food is fantastic and made of quality, locally sourced ingredients. Service was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The flavours are like nothing you can find in the area.

Fantastic food and ambience! We had the Duck L’Orange and souffl which was phenomenal. The creme brulee is worth coming back for too. Spoilt for healthy choice when you see the menu. We stayed pretty late and enjoyed our dinner with a very friendly service.

Superb service, welcoming staff with fabulous food. From the beautiful French greeting on the phone whilst making a last minute reservation for two, followed by the welcome invitation into the restaurant every detail was a pleasurable experience.

Had some training and thought a stop at this fine french resturant would be good. Not dissapointed at all. French chicken and salad/mayo banguet. presentation was good. Nicely boxed and all delivered in handle paper bag. The mocca to go was excellent quality. Would go back for sure. Im not giving anymore than 3 as im pretty savvy with scoring and cafes and resturants really need to to stand out to get more than 3 stars from me.

Did breakfast here and I must say it takes a lot to disappoint someone for breakfast they did it . Overpriced and badly prepared . Ordered some omelette with duck – served with a filling of potatoes and cheese. Over cooked duck – to much cheese could barely taste the egg . No bread served ordered separately no butter served , $22 for eggs and toast extra for that price not acceptable . Luke warm coffee . I wouldnt recommend this place . No wonder they were empty . There were 3 tables occupied 4 people another got up and complained about his order as well they remade the order and forgot adding his side dishes . Honestly just sloppy.

Le Coq is a really nice place to go for a slightly fancy but healthy meal. We had half a duck and half a chicken, which was cooked beautifully, and some steamed greens and crispy potatoes. Simple but tasty and well seasoned. The staff were really friendly and attentive also.
