Food is amazing … staff are amazing… it goes without saying that beers are amazing.Great place to unwind after a long day. Staff were very good with the kids giving them things to entertain them while we got down to tasting the food which was delicious 🙂
Where do you go for dinner when every member of the family is a foodie? Opa was a great choice, because everyone got to try everything, and it was all delicious! Thanks to chef Dave, host Annette, and the attentive staff for a lovely Saturday evening. Have a whole new standard for Greek cuisine – I look forward to coming back with more family and friends.
WOW! What a great time we had at this gorgeous new Greek food heaven. Meeting the owners was really special – some of the items on the menu are family recipes handed down by Annette’s mother, and we were pleased that we got to try two of them. I HIGHLY recommend the Moussaka (hope I spelt that right guys!) it was HEAVEN!!! Thanks to Annette and Dave for the big effort and commitment to open a new place in Rozelle and contribute to the uprising of this awesome area. Finn and I loved meeting you and hearing your story. We stumbled along this new restaurant and thought it looked lovely so decided to book a table for Saturday night. We decided to order the chefs selection and we were not disappointed! All of the dishes were delicious. The taramasalata was the best Ive tasted and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The wine list was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. I will definitely be coming back again soon!
We had the pleasure of eating at this great new restaurant last night. Our group decided to go with the Chef’s Table set menu and it did not disappoint. From the moment the Taramosalata arrived with the most delicious pita bread I’ve ever had I knew we were in for good food but as each dish came out I soon discovered I was wrong…we were in for a night of amazing food and warm hospitality! The Saganaki was melted cheesy deliciousness, the Loukaniko (sausage) had just the right amount of spice, the Lamb melted in our mouths and the salad added a touch of freshness along with the zesty lemon potatoes. The wines were lovely and complimented the food. Chef Dave was great and even gave our little one an extra special treat with his dessert. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better we ordered dessert, and not because we could really fit it in but because we had a feeling it would be too good to miss out on. We were right the Bougatsa was to die for!! We will definitely be back, just trying to work out who to bring along next time! Keep up the good work Dave, Annette and the whole Opa crew!
