Love my bento boxes. The service was lightening fast. I was served food within 10 minutes after I ordered.The bento box was simple. Nothing special or different from other bento boxes. The tempura was crisp and the salmon nigiri was fresh. Miso soup was hot and not too salty. Place was clean and tidy.
Nothing great with the sushi…nothing bad either …just that rude and cold staff make it hard for you to go there again. Their bags for take away are recycled old plastic bags which is another let down. If you feel like a walk in this wonderful area then many other great places within walking distance .
Low quality sushis. Just had two boxes of take away maki (rolls) from there.The salmon avocado were barely edible; the salmon pieces were full of skin and white fat – see picture !The prawn avocado was also very low in quality. The rice was ultra dry…don’t know how long it has been waiting, but definitively a while!
I love this place! I work in rozelle and the staff have always been lovely. Sushi is nice and fresh made every morning!
We came in for a late lunch almost dinner (around 3:30 in the afternoon). There were a few occupied tables but generally quiet time of the day.Can’t say too much about the service but we got prompt attendance from waitresses and they even smiled.Food was quite good. We had a couple of bento boxes and agedash tofu. Sashimi was fresh, tempura was cooked just right with good oil. Chicken teriyaki was tasty even.Only gripe I may express is that there were rather too many fruit flies buzzing about.All in all not too bad a place for an afternoon meal.
The worst!!!!. Do not support this kind of restaurant! I order Vegetable Ramen (noodle soup) at this restaurant. I swear they served me instant noodle with 2 pieces of broccoli. Service was terrible. Rude staff!
Cr@p. Rude staff who can’t even crack a smile (we were the first table in) and the worst tonkatsu I’ve ever had – tough, dry and I wondered how old the meat was. The soft shell crab sushi was ok but seriously, why go here when there are so many other (& much better) Japanese restaurants/sushi bars available? Worst Japanese on the Balmain peninsula if you ask me.
