This is a typical pub. What ever you order will come out pub style. Kids calamari was deep fried (don’t serve it then….), pie was shop bought pastry. Just not our fave, whilst it didn’t taste awful, not somewhere we’d seek out.

Such a friendly environment with awesome staff, clean and neat. Second time we’ve been here and the food is on point with large portions. We’ll deffs come back 🙂
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is pretty good too. I liked how the music wasn’t too loud so I could actually hear what people were saying. Schnitzel was nice and crispy.
I came here recently with my workmates for our weekly team lunch, and I ordered a medium rare steak with fries and salad. It was delicious. The meat was succulent, cooked perfectly and the all important fries were crispy too. We also had some deep fried pickles as an entree and they were crispy and tasty. I would definitely come back here, and I would highly recommend this low key bar. My team mates would too!
Bigger and considerably better than it looks from the outside, The New Hampton Hotel is amongst the best of the traditional pubs on offer in Potts Point. The interior features unusual stone-clad walls, a well-presented bar area and, naturally, a gaming area with TAB. Brews on offer include Heineken, Tooheys New and James Squires 150 Lashes.A decent option for those seeking a respite from the seediness of the Cross without having to hit an expensive bar. thernbdiary.com
