Your standard sushi train style restaurant. Went here for lunch on a weekday and there was hardly anyone around. The staff came over with the electronic menu and informed that the menu had changed. Previous reviews say that all dishes were $3.50. But that doesnt seem to be the case now. $3.80 and upwards. The dishes were alright. Plenty of dishes on the train and even some hot items. Plenty of dessert plates too.
Pretty good for a local sushi joint! You place your orders on an iPad and it goes straight to the kitchen. Kingfish sashimi dish was divine! Salmon sashimi platter was fresh and yummy and Agedashi Eggplant was divine! Will definitely be back for lunch and dinner!
Checked out the Japanese sushi train, Sushi Roll at Top Ryde. Managed to get seating next to the train belt rather than individual table, phew! This means we get to pick the food we want from the sushi train. The food reminded me of those from JAWS back in my uni days in Perth. Nostalgic feeling! The udon noodle soup was a fav, tasty and small in serving so we can get other food too theengineereats.com
This place is a not bad option for sushi. The plates can be a bit expensive and a lack of seats means it can be hard to get a seat at the train, but it is certainly a good option for Japanese at Top Ryde!
Love this place! It’s my new favourite place! It combines two of the things I love, Seafood and Japanese Cuisine! Well of course sushi being an eminent for me.Perfect date place could I say?!The technology for ordering is something. G that I liked. Amazing spicy Seafood undon! Must try out this place!Gonna have me back soon!
I like this little place for a fix on sushi. I am more of a chicken base fan for sushi dishes ( I know I’m horribly missing out). There service is prompt, Cant fault the sushi besides of the minimal range? but it does have a lot more other choices for your preferences. bar stools can sometimes be hard to get up onto for some people.
