Great authentic pizza I love the Margherita DOC – great quality buffalo mozzarella and thin crispy base.Now even closer to me with the new Brookvake restaurant opened 🙂 happy days .. Super service. These guys rock it
Probably the best pizza I’ve eaten in Sydney. Tiny place with only a handful of tables and a simple selection of drinks. But the pizza menu is long, reasonably priced and very delicious.
Great service, the staff went out of their way to give us comfy seats. The pizzas were as good as, if not better, than in Italy-buffalo mozzarella margarita was delicious. Can’t wait to go again
Way underrated!. Sydney has a few pizza places that get a lot of publicity that everyone knows about. Sale Pepe is every bit as good as any other pizza I’ve had in Sydney, and yet is not anywhere near as well known. The pizza here is amazing and the service is great. Everything is so fresh, and you can watch your pizza coming to life inside the wood fired oven. Try it before too many other people find out about it!
Disappointment from a Long Time Favourite.. I generally love the pizza here and have ordered take away and dine-in on several occasions. Today I ordered the Margarita DOC and was eagerly awaiting the lovely mix of buffalo mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce. I was disappointed to find the pizza overloaded with sauce but missing a good deal of the mozzarella and with only five pieces of dried out basil. My husband’s pizza was up to the usual great standard and he enjoyed his but mine left me wanting for the beautiful pizza I had eaten from here in the past. I am not sure if it is a weekend thing or new staff.
Pizza that actually comes close to that of Italy! Definitely worth a visit.
