Quite a quaint little place in Shellharbour village far south of Wollongong. Wood fired pizza and pasta with step entry stairs.This place was ok, just OK and sometimes I think I need to rate a place a little better, but when it is just about the food for me this is just a 3 at best.I had a take away pizza from this place about 6 months ago and said to my local friends it was just about the best pizza I had ever had, but tonight my pizza was just OK, the crush was hard and the dough thin, thick soft and hard. I don’t know if these bases are fresh or pre made frozen packs. I ordered the Italian with anchovies as an extra, don’t know where the anchovies went and the pizza was as bland as bland can be. We ordered a kids meals chicken Schnitzel with fries and that was ok, perhaps frozen too before coming out. The veal scalloping seemed nice look at my pic, it was my friends dish so I didn’t try it. My other dish was the pasta and it was cooked al dente with a perhaps over rich bought pomodora sauce. Great service, cool wood fire pizza oven titled, it’s worth the visit and I’m keen to know about the pizza bases.
