Berry Good CafeThis a friendly and inviting Cafe located in Berry. It is a small coffee/restaurant near Jarvis bay. It is small but cozy. The staff was friendly and they smile as we enter the place. The breakfast menu is better than Lunch but they have high quality food. I got sausage roll with home made tomato sauce and salad. Salad was standard but the sausage roll was 10/10. It was savoury and has a nice crisp of pastry layers. The price was a bit expensive but since we had a great experience, it doesn’t matter. They have different types of deserts, unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to try them because we had to leave early.
The food was so good we came here again during our long weekend stay. The Tuna salad was to die for. I would drive all the way again to have it again. The tuna was sashimi style touched the grill on either side. The blood orange salad brought on a summery balance that was simply divine. The linguine was perfect. Cant wait to go back there. Highly recommend this place. The staff were sweet too.
The trout and the pork belly dishes were both really good! The flavours and textures all worked really well together! The croissant and the macadamia tart were just good but nothing really special
Came here for brunch on Sunday, was told 10 min wait and went around the back to the gift shop. When we got back the people behind us had sat down already and we waited another 10-15 mins, which wasn’t great. They should tell us that it’s about 5-10 min wait if people are leaving and to wait out the front. Other than that, food was great. They specialise in baked good and pastries, which I had the lamb sausage roll which was flaky and really tasty. Also tried the pain au raisin and the baguette which was fresh and great. I had the mushroom omelette on sourdough, eggs perfectly cooked, could have done with a bit more mushroom but loved the ample servings of avocado. Chai lattes were good too. Will definitely come again.
The food here was great. We ordered the duck which was on the specials menu. It was perfectly cooked with a nice balance of flavour and texture from the sweet mandarin, the tangy cabbage and the crispy toasted nuts. We also ordered the beef pappardelle which was well cooked but perhaps needed just a bit more seasoning for my tastes. I would also highly recommend their croissants it was deliciously buttery and flaky.
This was recommended as the best place in Berry for breakfast. Not disappointed. The ham on the eggs benedict was particularly awesome. Good coffee too. The only problem is how we immediately wanted to stay for lunch.
Great place to stop, relax and get ready for further travel. Great atmosphere and service. The food is high quality and the coffee is superb. Always stop and visit. We also eat heaps and take away many items. Their local eggs are best I have ever tasted.
